Need help with proper wheel off-set
Guys,
I need some guidance on the proper off-sets for wheels.
My S2000 is lowered 1.5" with Tanabe springs and stock shocks.
Would a 17x8 (front) & 17x9 (rear) with 38mm off-set work without having to fender roll or worry about rubbing during sharp turns and high speed aggressive driving?
If not, what off-set should I use. I really want a fat-wide look in the back (Porsch 911 style...).
Also, does the increase in diameter from 16" to 17" increase my rotational inertia so that it will be significantly noticeable in my acceleration?
Thanks in advance!

For 17x8 width, I'd go with at least +54 offset. And 17x9 width with +62.
Take a look at Volk CE28N's, they are 17x7.5 +48 and 17x9 +63!
