Default Need Help on tires!!!

i just ordered the 18' Volk GT-7 gunmetal for my 03 s2k silverstone.. and i dont know where i can get good deal on tires.. and dont know what size i should get.. the front is 18x7.5 and the rear is 18x8.. so somebody please help me.. thank you thank you..

order Bridgestone potenza S03's in 225-40-18 and 255-35-18 from tirerack. i promise you will not find a better tire and you will thank me in the morning

I like BlueS2000 recommendation but if the wheel is only an 18X8 rar it won't work correctly. The widest that will fit is a 245/35R18 and I would recommend the Goodyear GSD3. Match that with the 225/40R18 front and you are good to go.

there are a lot of membors who have fit 255 rears on the volks in a 8 rear. for some reason it just works nicely. that way you can get the S03's

Jim,

The 245/35-18's are shorter than 225/40-18. I've put on 255/35-18 on 18 x 8 50 offset volks and they didn't rub.

The 245/35-18 are for the 18 x 8 47offset Volk like the LE37's. The fronts should then be 215/40-18. Falken makes that combination .

okay.. im confused.. i really dont know what to get.. the offset for the front and the rear are both +50.. what should i do..

For the GT-7's, 225/40-18 for the fronts and 255-35-18 rears. Will not rub unless your car is "dumped" more than 2". Tried and tested on SoCal S2k's I've worked on.
