Default need new wheels and tires. please help

ok so ive just spent 4500 on a brand new paintjob. now its time for a set of wheels and tires. my budget is 1200-1500 bucks. sadly i cant afford to drop 4-5k on wheels like some folks on here.. but i think for 1500 i can get a decent set. i dont really care how heavy or light the wheels are, i dont care about brand names, replicas...etc. as long as they fit and they dont rub ill be happy with that.. id like a set of 18"... i do like mesh wheels. ive been also looking at xxr 521 and xxr 522 but i donno if they would fit or not.. i dont care how wide they are as long as they dont rub... with that said, anyone have any suggestions lol?

Keep the wheels stock. It sounds like you're not terribly picky, or passionate about any given set of wheels so why change? Don't throw your money away if you don't have to.

BTW, 18" tires are a LOT more expensive than 17" tires.

^ This. Why would you replace them if you don't care about the wheels you'd replace them with at all?

At least be very specific about what you mean by "decent". Since you don't care about items that most people care about then what are your criteria? Don't assume that your preferences are the same as everyone else's.

Take a look at the ASA AR1. They are a good quality wheel at a good price. If I can help let me know.

lol its hard being passionate about a set of wheels when ur budget is small. if i had a better budget it would be a totally diff story. i love the line up of bbs mesh wheels. sadly cant afford those. so its not that im not passionate about the car or wheels. im just being limited by the budget. so far ive looked at the xxr 522 & xxr521, meister vs, tenzo type m. enkei rpf1, mrr gt1, tsw snetterton. i think some of those wheels are within my budget. only problem is at this point. on the fitment page, going by that chart some of those wheels would not fit because of the offset, but on the websites they say it fits..so at this point im just stuck.

I know the RPF1s will fit as long as the minimum front is 17x7(or 7.5)X48mm and the minimum rears are 17x8x45mm - I have spent the last few days trying to understand the guide and learning about fitment!! I was looking at those too, but decided to go with the ASA AR1s Jim recommended since the price is right and I wanted to budget for some other items. Just hit the order button a few minutes ago.

OEM 17"s: APV1s are my favorite, but I don't mind the V2s and V3s.

Add spacers, a nice drop, and 225/255 tires? Boom. Done.
