ok. Read that link. The tires that a buddy of mine has im lookin at are 245/50/16 and 205/50/16 That gonna work?
205/55/16 front
245/45/16 rear
You'll have a shorter sidewall on the fronts and a taller sidewall on the rears. Your ride will a bit softer and your speedo will be out by about 2% to 3%. And depending on the driving condition, those may or may not play tricks with the ABS.

Thanks for the help. I have an 1" drop on mine. I would really like to take up some of that fender gap with a little bit taller tire. Just wanna make sure what works.
Thanks for your help xviper.
205/55/16 front
245/45/16 rear
The size mentioned above is the best option. But arent the front tires gonna have a bigger sidewall than the rear? Sorry just trying to understand.

The middle number is the "aspect ratio". It represents the sidewall in terms of % of cross sectional width.
For example, the OEM tire 205/55/16 has a sidewall that is 55% of 205 or 112.75mm
and the tire you chose being 205/50/16 has a sidewall that is 50% of 205 or 102.5mm.
As you can see, the 55 aspect ratio tire will be taller than your 50 A/R tire. You can do the same math on the rears to see that the OEM size will be shorter than your chosen tire.
In other words, your chosen front tire will fill the wheel well less and your chosen rear tire will fill the wheel well more than an OEM tire.
