Default New Azenis

Just bought a set of the new Azenis 615's for auto-x. They are available in a good number of sizes including 225/45 and 255/40, which I use on my SSR's Comp's. I bought from Vulcan in PA.

I loved the 215's on my old ITR and was disappointed when I saw that sizes were not available for the S. Hopefully, the 615's are as effective as the 215's. Time will tell.

Axel,

The instand I get my new Volks, I am headed over to get mine in the exact same size. I can't wait! I was seconds away from ordering a new set of Kuhmo MX's before I changed my mind and decided to wait and go with the Azenis. I do not think I will regret my decision. How do you like them?

Being delivered today via UPS. I'll let you know my impressions. First auto-x is 4/10...that will be the true test.

Paul,

I just ordered mine yesterday. It seems that every enthusiast in the country is buying these up. They initially told me that it would be a few days to get them. Then they told me a week. This morning they told me that they had the rears but the fronts would be a bit longer than a week. Considering that I have 3 of my 4 new Volks sitting here I am not in a huge hurry to get them at this point.

Let me know what you guys think of them when you get them on.

BTW Paul, Have any used sets of Hoosiers that you want to sell?

Do they have any sizes that will fit on the stock wheels? These look very tempting since I am looking for some new fronts.

The last I looked, they did not have suitable sizes for stock 16in wheels. It seems that our tire sizes are not very common.

Edit: If you have an 04 or 05, the 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 sizes should work just fine.

GC, I was told on another thread that this size will work on stock o4-05 wheels. However, they appear to me to be a snug fit for the stock wheels, especially in the rear. The 255/40 fits fine on a 17x9 wheel like the SSR's.

I think the stock 17in rear wheel is 8 1/2in. They should fit just fine.

Here is the 04-05 wheel info.

"17 inch stock wheels for AP2 chassis (2004+)

Front: 17" diameter x 7.0" width, 55mm offset
Rear: 17" diameter x 8.5" width, 65mm offset

Stock tires:

Front: P215/45R17-87W
Rear: P245/40R17-91W

(Bridgestone Potenza RE050)"

Mine are going on Volk CE28s. They are a half inch wider both front and back. This is the size that most run on these wheels. I think they will fit great!
