Default New Michelin??

Has Michelin designed a better tire than its Pilot Super Sport?

I just saw this. Posting for comment

Yeah only 19 and 20 for now. They'll probably phase in the 18 inch sizing over the next year.

Hate to tell you guys but the 17 inch market is probably only going to get more and more narrow as time goes on. All the newer cars are 18+ it seems like.

The Miata, BRZ, and WRX have 17"s, new. I think there is still life left in the size.

If 17"s are dead, then anyone with a sports car built before 2010 or so is in rough shape.

No sweat about 17" issue. That's what we have the new Continental tire for:
ExtremeContact Sport

If these end up being comparable to the PSS (or even Michelin's new tire) I'm interested. Love my PSS but they're fairly pricey.

Thanks for posting that link. I was going to order my Bridgestones this week....Now I think I'll wait & see what the verdict is on these tires first.
