New Tires
I have read some of TireRack's tests, but I can't remember if there was a hydroplane part of them. I love the SO2's, even in the wet, as long as I am not going thru standing puddles of water in a straight line. And that is not fun with these tires. Anyway, not hydroplaning is pretty important to me. Sometimes at night, it is hard to see the water at the bottom of rises. I wish there were more tests of hydroplaning resistance. In a straight line, I wouldn't think there would be much difference whether the car was FWD or RWD. If that is true, SO3's may not be good for me based on the test above.
I've recently changed my tire to BF goodrich G/Force KDW's on rear. I still have oem tires in front. this tire seems to be pretty good for normal driving. from comparison, dry traction was little less equal to S02 but superior on wet traction.
