Thumbs up new tires

i tried a few searches but couldnt really find anything. can someone help me? i just got a new set of dunlop sp sport max. same size as the stocks (215/45/17 F and 245/40/17 R) and it was my first time driving it today. nice hot california day and everytime i switched lanes or turned, the rear end seemed to wobble or go out of control. is it because the tires are too new and need to be broken in? or is it cuz the dunlops run a dif size from the potenzas? it felt really weird. thanks for any help. btw i have an 05'. thanks

New tires have to be "scuffed in" before they get maxuim grip. just keep driving it and you should notice improved traction in maybe 50 or a 100 miles. Id just take it to a empty parking lot and toss it around a few times. Let us know how you like these tires, as they are on my short list for new tires.

If you haven't already check the tire pressures. Sometimes tire shops leave them overinflated.
