yes, there is no good explanation that many race teams run nitrogen. They do it just to say they do.

Parallels cannot be drawn between our cars and race cars. The world a 200mph race car lives in is far more brutal and harsh than anything our S2000s would see. Negligible differences, such as the evaporation of water in a tire, make a large impact on the race track.

Simply put, if you are sourcing out nitrogen filled tires for your S2000 you are wasting your time. See, law of diminishing returns.
Pretty sure he was talking about your comment about being skeptical to "any gains on and off the track"
