Default noob question about wheels size

hi, i just picked up a used 01, mostly stock and i'm looking at getting some wheels. i'm going with 17x8 in the rear but i don't know if i should go with 17x7.5 or 17x7 for the front. these wheels will be for street and some autocross use. what offset should i get because i might be getting spoon front calipers in the future. also, what tire size should i go with.

thanks,

Either wheel size will be fine on the front. Most wheels that you are going to be looking at are going to have one or the other size and not both to fit the S2K. If you are going to upgrade the brakes you better check the clearance.

i was looking at some rota wheels and they do have 17x7 and 17x7.5 for some of the models, that's why i'm having a hard time deciding. i don't think spoon calipers on stock rotors are going to require that much clearance but i'm not sure on that, i'll have to do some more searching. the wheels i was looking have a highest offset of +48, i think that should be enough.

Just keep it staggered. 7 or 7.5 doesn't matter. Mind to tell us what Rota wheel your looking @?
