Default Offset and fitment

hey guys.

i've seen some ppl run weird offsets, like +38 and so on in the rear

i found some decent wheels
just wanted to know what i would ahve to do to fit them

the front is 18x8 with a +40 offset
and the rears are 18x9.5 with a +40 offset

would i have to roll fenders and relocate the bumper tab and so on
what amount of rear camber would be good for this set up

thanks

your fronts should be fine with a little bit of camber. The rears will fit with a good amount of negative camber, rolled fenders, and relocated bumper tab. what size tires are you planning to run?

You should be able to get that rim to fit up front. I have 8.5 +50 with a 225, but I recently raised my car to 2 finger gap between tire/fender. I bent the lining tabs by hand and I have zero rubbing issues. How low will you go?

Anything for you

Wheel/Tire:
Advan RS
17x8.5 +50 225/45/17
17x9 +29 255/40/17

Diameter will not make a difference- it's all about offset, width, and tire size.

For the front- really all I had to do was bend in the tabs that the fender lining clips go into. This is just done by hand. Keep in mind that I am running fairly stiff coilovers (Buddyclub racing Spec), which obviously makes the car less prone to compressing. As stated, I have about an inch of wheel gap as well right now. At the last alignment, I had my car set to stock front settings for camber.

For the rears, I have yet to install. I am waiting on my shop to have time to take me. I am adding an extension piece to the rear bumper to follow the ASM over fenders. I will have the inside of the wheel arch on the rear bumper trimmed, and the bumper bolt relocated to avoid rubbing. I am confident this set up will fit with moderate-stock amount of camber.
