Offset? I Have No Clue?

I'm going with a set of SSR Prof. SP1's and the wheel size in the front is 18 x 8 and in the rear 18 x 9.5.
I was wondering what kind of offset to go with. I also dont want the wheels sticking out, looks awful, and I dont want any rubbing.
I'm going to lower the car at most 1.5 inches so I got to take that into consideration.
Any advice would help.
