Default Offset Questions

Hi all, I am new to the S2K community. I hope you guys can help me put on this. Thanks in advance!

Does anybody know if the following offsets and tires fit our S2000?

17 x 7 ET50 with 215/45/17
17 x 8 ET45 with 235/40/17 or 245/40/17

Thank you.

The offset is too low for the rear. I would think even with the narrower tire it would rub.

Actually, I had 17x8 +44 GTNs on my car, lowered with JIC coilovers (very low).

no rubbing problem at all. no mods necessary. Duc (ahhhvtec) has these on his car now. I believe I had 235's on the rear.
