Offset, Tire Width & Fender Mods?
Let me preface this by saying that I have done a lot of research and understand that there is no definitive answer and there are several variables that effect fitment. I have a stock, unmolested AP2 and I am preparing to install buddy club n+ and lower the car significantly. The car is daily driven 8 miles (round trip) to work and back, it is not a track car and I don't drive like a douche on the street; I like my cars low and slow. I would like to be able to fit marginally aggressive wheels (ie: 17x9 +45 squared) and don't mind running a slight stretch and some camber. I am a bit hesitant however to roll my rear quarters and relocate the bumper tab. So the question really is, can I fit 17x9 +45 in the rear without hacking up my quarters and bumper by running stretch and camber? If not, is it common practice to roll the rears and generally accepted amongst enthusiasts?
No you should not try do it without rolling the fenders. I have no idea why you would be afraid to have this done. Just make sure you go to someone that knows what they are doing and not so re moron with a baseball bat. If done right you cannot actually tell that the fenders have been touched. There is no hacking involved. Look in your local subforum for someone that does this.
You will need to roll the fronts as well for this set up. With that all done you can easily run a 245/40/17 all the way around. Just make sure you get a good alignment. I think 2.5 degrees all around should give you the space for these. This will not compromise your handling and it will look good.

Thanks for the info. I am more or less concerned with the rear lip being rolled flat and collecting road grime and moisture. I am not worried about rolling the front as these are a replaceable bolt on panel. A slight roll in the rear would be ok as there is still room to clean debris out from under the panel.
I have all of my fenders rolled and tabs relocated. It is a virtually unchanged appearance all around and gives you the peace of mind that you won't mangle a fender in a driveway or similar situation. For the fronts I have the 17x9 +45 with 245/40 tires and it fits nicely with -1.8 degrees of camber. I haven't had any rubbing in the front, rears should be even easier to fit.

If its done right there will be little to know room for debris. Also make sure you clean it out before rolling it. If you are worried about debris go get a rag and run it along the lip of the fender. You'll be amazing at the crap the gets stuck on that lip.
