Ok to run these size tires?

Is it ok to run these size tires, 215/40/18 front and 235/40/18 rear. I know I should be going with a 35 series in the rear but would the 40 series be ok? What difference would it make? Thanks

It'll work but it'll throw your speedo off a bit and reduce acceleration a bit.
