hrrmmmm.... im on the fence between which route to take.

should i go OEM AP2 V1 wheels (which i already have) and powder coat them gold...

or

should i go Enkei RPF1 in 17x7 +48 17x8 +45

suuure powder coat the wheels and it will be cheaper and allow me to run wider tires.

but with the enkei's i can cut about 15 lbs in unsprung weight or roughly 35 static?

however i think id be stuck with 245s in the rear....

hrrmmmm.........

guess in the end it comes down too which would make the car perform better.

35ish lbs less weight.

or 10+more mm of tire.....

It all depends on what you want! I have RPF1's and love them but I went with 17x7.5 +48 in front and 17x9 +45 in rear. I am going to roll the fenders hopefully this weekend and then throw on some coilovers. But I do not auto-x my car. If you auto-x then I would say powdercoat stocks and spend money on something else! Just my $.02.

the thing is id think they both look great.

just im looking for something a bit more performance oriented which is why im torn between wider tires....or some weight savings.

i do plan to drop the car and get coilovers.
