Default Opinion on Volk GTS wheels

Im about to purchase a set of Volk GTS wheels with these offests:

18x7.5 +49
18x9 +62

I searched and searched, and i cant find pics of these wheels on an s2000 anywhere

Both offsets seemed a little high to me, but im fairly new to s2000's, so i wasnt sure if they were good or not. I dont want anything that will be tucked, so the closer to flush the better. This is the only offsets that they have in stock, so i cant be to picky.... its this, or choose another wheel

What do you guys think?

Im a fan of 5 spoke wheels, so I think they look good. If you like it, then get them. That set-up should work on your car. 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 will probably be your tire sizes.

The stock offsets are +55F +65R so 6mm and 3mm further out than stock.

thats not true. The width of the wheel comes into play also.

A 9" wheel with a +62 offset will sit out just as far as a 8" wheel with a +52 offset

Love the wheel.

Anywho, with those offsets posted, they WILL not be flushed with the fender if that is the look your going for.

Im running the infamous s2000 Volk set up of +63 and 50 and they are waay to sunk in for my taste. I will be running a 10mm spacer and will be flipping 255's once again when my tires get shot out. From there, I know it will be closer to the fender, but still it will not be not be super flushed.

go with a 9 +45 and you'll be there

I would love to get a 9 +45, but they dont have them in stock (60-90 days out). A local friend of mine owns a wheel shop, and can get me these wheels at his cost (very good deal ), i just wanted to see how the offsets were.

Do you have a picture of your setup with th e9" +62 in the rear?

Im going to call him tomorrow about the offsets. I have the Rays catalog in front of me and in the 18x9 size, it looks like i have a choice of +44,+49, +55 as well. Will the +44 fit w/o rolling the fenders? Im on stock suspension right now, but will be installing some springs very shortly. I dont want to go so aggressive that i have to do major work to get them to fit w/o rubbing.

What about the fronts? in the 18x7.5 size, there is also a +44. That should fit, and be close to flush, right?

Thanks for the help

Forgive my oversimplification, 1/2 the difference in width must be added (wider) or subtracted (narrower) the difference from AP2 stock sizes is 12mm and 9mm
the difference from AP1 stock wheels face placement is: 18mm and 22mm further out.
