I am about to replace my Hankook Ventus 104s. I am considering the Contis.
My driving is spirited and I spend a lot of time at Tail of the Dragon.
Anyone here had any experience with these tires and if so, what are your impressions?

Thanks.

I think thats their newest tire, havent heard much about it...but i would go with the SportContact2 since its used on M3s and Porches without any problem....

We have these on my wife's Mazda3. They're fine (infinitely better than the OEM GoodYear RS-A's), but sidewalls are particularly squishy. When I get all-seasons for the S2k this Winter, I'll probably get B'stone RE960's.

Do you really need all-seasons?

No, I am in an area that gets 4 seasons but no really cold weather.

If you're not going to be driving on snow, get Summer tires. MUCH better dry and wet grip.

They are made by General Tires, now owned by Conti. I have not driven on them. But a friend who has said the sidewalls are very soft.

I have had great experiences with the Kumho ASX (W speed rating), very good stick and ride for an all-season, which I use during the winter months. Price on these tires is pretty good.

Conti's are known to have super soft sidewalls. A friend put these on his Evo and now he hates his life.

Thanks for the input guys.

Since I run the Dragon in a spirited mode and tend to enjoy lateral Gs, I think I will pass on these. Soft sidewalls are not good medicine.

Actually they might be good tires if you are running 18's
