Default P ZERO TROFEO R

Any info or performance data on these yet? Look promising! Reminds me of a more affordable Pilot Sport Cup tire.

Apparently they've been out for a while in Europe

McLaren P1 Tires! I'm sure it'd be hard to go wrong.

I've also been eyeing these. Extremely competitive 255/17 prices if they actually perform at the level the 60 rating would indicate. I think what we really need is an RE-71R/Trofeo-R shootout to see where the bang-for-buck 255/17 tire is right now.

They let the Camaro Z/28 do amazing things in 305 widths.

I had the chance to experience these tires in a 991 GT3 and the pure mechanical grip was incredible. I feel pretty confident that the RE-71R wouldn't stand a chance of turning lap times in the same range as these on a track (these should be closer to a Toyo RR or soft compound hankook TD). However, on the street I'm not sure you'd gain anything over an RE-71R or any of the other high end EHP street tires unless you're *really* pushing on the roads you drive. I would also think that these, like most r-comps, will heat cycle out and harden up rather quickly with street use and therefore would lose a lot of grip over their life. In any case I have been wanting to try a set out but the only street miles they would ever see would be to and from the track until the very end of their life.

Toyo RRs are 230ish a tire. I think since Im taking the S off the road this year this will be my next set of tires. Definitely hearing better reviews on these tires compared to R888s or NT01s.
