Painted Wheels
I just purchased an '09 altima, and unfortunately it came with steel wheels and hub caps.
I was looking on tirerack to purchase a cheap pair of rims. I found a cheap pair I like which have a style of "silver painted" and decided to look up a review. The reviewer stated that the paint on the wheels had "bubbled" after a year of ownership and were in poor visual shape. They also stated that the car was garaged and well maintained.
Is this common with this finish (painted) or is it just because of the cheapness of the wheel? A simple case of you get what you pay for?
Any help would be appreciated.

All of the wheels we carry have at least a one year warranty. The painted wheels are the most durable finsih. All of the painted wheels are also clear coated. For the finish to be that bad I would guess he used some wheel cleaners that ate the clear coat.
If I can help let me know.
