Perfect ET for s2k?
Hi, i'm wondering about the ET in the s2k, and YES i've read the wheel fitment guide so i know what fits. But what i want to know is what would be the perfect ET for the s2k. The rims i'm planning on is 8x18 in front and 9,5x18 in the back. I want to know what would be the perfect ET for these wheels, considering: handling, rubbing & looks.
And if someone fell offended by this thread cause there is a wheel fitment guide, i'm really sorry but when there is this much cash involved i dont want to do anything but perfect.
please help me

Well it kind of depends on what you mean by perfect. If you'd like those wheels to have the same outer fender clearance as OEM wheels (say, AP2 wheels) then you can use the offset calculator to find your "perfect" offset numbers.
The result is that you would need an offset of 68 in the front and 78 in the rear.
Good luck with that.
It's more practical to get the tire as close to the outer fender as possible and not rub. (This is precisely what the guide is for.) This looks great with big wheels, as long as your car is lowered. Some say it looks a little funny at stock ride height.
Offsets will have a minimal effect on handling IMO, so I wouldn't place too much weight on that. Just get something that fits without rubbing and has the proper tire stagger.
Cheers.

That would again depend on what you are looking for and the offsets of the wheels you end up getting. I would say the best option is the 225/40R18 front and 255/35R18 rear. That keeps the stagger good and they are the same height front and rear.
If I can help let me know.
