I have a silverstone w/ stock AP1 wheels right now and I'm hung up on what color I would want to powder them. Im looking for pictures of powder coated AP1 wheels if anyone has them, please post them up!

Right now Im thinking gloss black, or a variation of silver. Black is easy and it always turns out good, I just find it a bit cheap looking.

 

im sorry to be the guy to say this, since im always needing help with things like this/have asked this question, but a quick search, at least search attempt, should yeild hundreds of pics of gloss black powder coat and several gunmetal grey

Its nice to find stuff on this site though. I would still like to see white, bronze or anthracite on a silverstone car though.

I had my ap1's powdered a silver with metal flake, something between sebring silver and silverstone. They were a bit subtle, looked good when the sun hit them and they sparkled a bit.

 

 

Thanks for the pics, Im definately leaning towards a lighter color. I find the blacked out colors make the car look like its running steelies or something.

Anyone ever had AP1's chromed out or chrome powder coated?

 

I'd say gunmetal ap1 wheels would look nice.
