Hey guys, I was thinking about getting my ap2v1's polished, and was wondering if anyone has had this done before.. pictures would be helpful.

 

ive seen chromed ones but not polished

or you could just paint them a bit:

 

those dont look bad, but i want my wheels to be polished, not just painted/powdercoated another color.

 

I REALLY like that but for some reason the wheels look smaller, did you do this yourself or have them done?

 

The lines are a lot more accented.

 

I did all taping of the polished areas(pain in the ass) and my buddy sprayed them at his motorcycle shop. As for them looking smaller, I thought just the opposite, the painted wheels look bigger when I had one of each on at a time.

Maybe this weekend, I throw one of the rear unpainted wheels back on and take a picture to see what ya kids think.

I'd suggest finding a bent/curbed wheel and apply some aircraft paint remover to see what they will look like, instead of just going ahead and doing your wheels. You might not like the results...

 

I have one set of chromed AP2v1 wheels and another being shipped to me for my REO1R's as I type. Here is a pic of my car with my DD all-seasons.



Some people like 'em some don't... just like everything in life. LOL
