Default Possible to change/adjust offset?

Hey - Is it possible to change the offset on 3-piece wheels (SSR Professors, Work VS-XX)? For example, take a 17x8 +35 and change that to a +42? If so, how extensive is that process?

Hopefully its not a ridiculous question

Material can be machined off at the hub but at what point where the structural integrity is compromised I'm not sure of.

you have the option to rebarrel them since they are 3-piece. Dont know about prices for that, but im sure its not cheap.

if u go with a wider barrel, something like 0.5" wider, I think that'll give u the offset u want. or maybe a smaller lip
