Picked up a set of the 17x9 with Nitto NT01 r-comps sized 255/40-17. Total weight per wheel/tire/balancing weights = 44lbs. The 255/40-17 NT01s weight 26 each so the TSW wheel is ~18lbs. If you subtract the wheel weights and valve stem (lets just guess 200g) and you have a wheel weight of ~17.6lbs. Not exactly a light weight wheel but not super heavy either. Discount Tire is selling them for $191 each with free shipping right now. They also managed to avoid any paint scraps when mounting the tires (at least on the front face of the wheel).

There is plenty of room near the fender. I don't have a great way to measure caliper clearance but the way the wheel is designed there is lots of room.
Cool. Thanks for the info! I'd like to get a wheel cross section template from TSW just to be sure... but I think I'm going to be ordering them anyway.

200g = 7.06 ounces. A rubber valve weighs about 24 grams. That leaves over 6 ounces of balancing weight, which is huge amount of weight to add to balance a passenger car wheel/tire assembly. If it took 6 oz, I'm pretty sure your experienced tire mounted would alert the service manager to a possible bad wheel or tire. 1-2 oz, (28-56gr) is more typical and probably what they have. You can check for yourself. The little segments are in 1/2 oz (14.2gr) increments.

Not a big deal but that puts the TSW closer to 18lbs I think.

I agree they are closer to 18lbs. I actually made a mistake above as the total wheel/tire package weighs 44.4 not 44 so total weight is around 18lbs. On the other hand, nitto just said the tire weighs "26 lbs". That could be 25.7 rounded up or 26.4 rounded down or it could be dead on at 26.0 lbs. Until I get another set of NT01s, there is no way to tell for sure. I just estimated wheel weights weight, some of the wheels had 1-2 wheel weight blocks and some had 3-5 weights which seems pretty typical.

Didn't the wheels get weighed earlier in the thread?

One weird thing I noticed: The TSWs look larger than they really are (ie 17" TSWs sort of look like 18" wheels).
