Would this work:

17x9 all around, 235/45 F 265/40 R. Tires should be the same height. Not looking to do any fender modifications, car is slightly lowered (1.5 inches).

Anybody got pictures of the matte gummetal on a BB? I can't decide between that and the silver.

If your going to run 17x9 all around, why limit yourself by staggering the tires when you can run a 255/40-17 all around and be able to rotate tires?

If your hell bent on running those tire sizes then I the 235s will be stretched and the 265s will be pinched...

Hey chetly, you have the 750 lb springs on the front right? How does the setup feel?

Nope, 750 is on the rear. Not running a rear swaybar! I just bought a new front swaybar from Ankeny Racing Enterprises so I'm not sure how that might affect the setup.

Well, I have an AP1. I'm concerned about oversteer running a non-staggered setup with out any other modifications (Front sway bar, springs).

^You should get SSR Type F or Type C in 17x8.5 +58 and 17x9.5 +65. Would go great with those tire sizes and several lbs lighter. If you can afford them...

I don't understand how they would be stretched or pinched. I'm looking at the specs on the Star specs on tirerack's website and the recommended rim width range of the 235/45/17s are 8-9.5, for the 265/40/17s its 9-10.5. Both fall within the range for the 17x9s.

they are within the range but the tires will but your on either end of the spectrum... You'll want to keep the tires in the middle of the range that tirerack specs.

Star specs run wide to begin with. If your gonna run Star Specs, i would run 245 square. See this forum page 13, post #308
