Why not buy KDW BFgoodrich Geforces instead? They are better tires.

I have been considering the BF's. I would also like to know why you think they are better.

Be warned The BFGs are not the same tread widths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Especially the rears!!! You will have terminal oversteer. Ask me how I know

The 255s are narrower than stock in 17"

You could try here. The price for the rear is a little cheaper than you quoted in your original post.
Shipping is only $10 per tire on that site. That seems less than I paid with tire rack...

1) The generic Potenza SO2 tire is no longer made.
2) OEM Potenza SO2 tires for Porsche and Honda are still in production. Make sure you order the correct tire as the sizes are the same.
3) At $154 front and $172 rear, the price has increased on OEM tires recently. If you want an inexpensive tire, get the Kumho Supra 712 at $68 front and $72 rear.
4) You get what you pay for.
5) The Tire Rack staff has always given me excellent service and product support. I've been buying tires from hem for over 10 years now for at least 5 different vehicles.
