Default Question

will the stock STI wheels with 245 tires fit on the S2000. I'm thinking I may need a 3mm spacer. The stock size is 17x8 +53 all the way around? might try it out this weekend, my buddy is getting new wheels and is going to let me try um out.

The centerbore of the STI wheels is too small, they will not fit on the front (but they will fit on the rear).

I would not recommend any other OE wheel on a different car. The OE wheels are only going to have the load capacity for the car they are on. You add in the wheels only having one size and the center bore is not correct and you are not going to have the wheels fit.

Well, it is short of a moot point since the STI wheel will NOT bolt onto the S2000 front hub due to the fact that it (STI) has a smaller centerbore size.

In terms of load rating, I am pretty sure the 3300lb, 300hp fSTI forged wheels are plenty strong enough for the S2000.

Except that they do not fit (unless you mill off material at the bore which is a hugh no-no IMHO).
