Default Question on OEM Wheels

Hi guys;

I have an 07 (AP2 V2 wheels) and would like to get the wheels powder coated. The place I want to have them powder coated at is asking if they are already powder coated as they will need to sandblast them first before they powder coat if this is the case. I think the OEM wheels are painted silver with clear coat and not powdercoated but can someone verify?

I can't comment on AP2 wheels, but AP1 wheels are powder coated, so you would think that would still be the case.

They don't have a sand/media blaster? It really shouldn't add too much to the cost.

They do but the price is enough to be a pain.

I would think they are powder coated and clear coated.
