I have been told that when replacing the rear factory Bridgestone's with another brand of tire, you should upsize from 225/50 to 245/50 because the sizing on the factory Bridgestone's is odd. Is this true? Is this only for the S02's, or all Bridgestones? Do the fronts need to be upsized to?

The reason I ask is because of this here. Tire rack doesn't list a 245/50 for these Bridgestones.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

correct size would be 245/45/16

 

And yes...the 245/45-16 is for any tire other than the OEM S02. That tire was made especially for the S2k.

cool, well I'm not really looking for a performance tire for the OEM wheels I just want an awesome rain tire. The performance tires go on the aftermarket wheels.
