Default re01r's

I bought a few sets of Re01r's for my rears, I was going to mount my last set when I noticed the date on the side was 02/08?
Are they still good or should I discard them? The front tires have the same date?
Thanks

If you don't see cracks in the sidewall and they look okay, you SHOULD be fine. I'm sure other's with a bit more expierence will confirm/deny these claims.

I bought 8 255/40 during the Tirerack blowout. I have my last pair on the rear right now, should be fine as long they weren't stored outside or something like that.

"Blowout" doesn't seem like a good marketing term for a TireRack sale. lol

I just put some on from 08 too, they are awesome. They were stored inside, so the rubber didnt dry out.

The title got me excited. I thought the RE01-R's were coming back

By far my favorite Extreme Performance street tire price/performance wise. I should have stocked up on them like some of you did.

LOL, I guess the actual term was a "close-out". Whatever it's called, $79 was impossible to beat. I can't wait to try some of the newer tires out (RE11, ZII, Rival) but these are still a really good tire.
