RE070 reviews?
No one has really done a review on the RE070s? I can only see STI reviews on tirerack.
How are they compared to the 050, 01R or AD-07s?
Wet driving?
Hydroplaning? (this is an issue in Texas)
According to the Bridgestone rep, the CR RE070s are custom to our car and different than the 225s on the STIs. They are better around a track than the 01R which would put them in the AD07 range???
I am asking because the RE11s are not headed hear anytime soon, if ever.

i still wouldn't put them on 'par' with RE01R or AD07, but i will say it's prob the closest tire you can get to those two that is offered (on a stock vehicle off the showroom floor). they outdo the 050 nicely in dry, i would think in the wet it's the same. the AD07 doesn't necessarily outdo the RE01R around a track per say either.
i use RE01r and love it wet or dry...i would think the 070 as an oem tire will still perform excellent in the wet....honda wouldn't give u a tire 'stock' and risk it being crap in teh rain. Falken RT-615 is a good example - great sticky in dry (see re01r levels), but in wet it's a nightmare.
hydroplaning can depend on a tires patten, wear levels and of course water level you hit...but also how wide your tires are. i don't think you should have a hydroplaning issue with any of the 3 tires you listed. (AD07 is great from comments i've heard, not sure in wet tho, but shoot...for the money it better perform in the wet too lol). you will see better wear from 050 and 070 naturally, sicne they're not as hardcore a performance tire are the others all listed here....also prob more even wear too.
all depends on what you will use them for, your driving style (preference) and your wallet.......(for the money RE01R is still the best)

I have them on my car now, I just got them. They have about a hundred miles on them so they are not broken in yet. I will say the car handles better already than the stock setup with the s02's. It feels much more planted in the rear, and turn in is more precise, point the wheel and it responds instantly.

Bridgestone told me that they are actually a better handling tire than the RE01R. You would actually have to have two cars and test them head to head to be sure.
Do the 070s heat up as fast as the 01Rs?
They seem to have a more aggressive patch, but I am looking for a street tire to replace my 01Rs at the Auto-X. With such a hefty investment, I'd like to know for sure that the 070s are the way to go.
They will be my dedicated Auto-X tire BTW. Minimal street usage, so I don't really care about noise or comfort. I need stellar performance.

I have used the AD07s for years now, well that was on my old 5R Teggy in Japan and loved them in both wet and dry and used them for gymkhana as well. The 070s are something special in my opinion, that is what comes stock on the newer CTR in Japan and that car (of course not all due to tires as Honda did some suspension tweaking) kicks ass on circuits, even faster than the S nisen. Though I'm sure the tires did play a pretty decent role in what it can achieve.
I'm split really as to what I want to put on the nisen, love and always will the AD07s, but the 070s are very tempting and surprisingly are cheaper than the AD07s, which is the reverse in Japan, even the RE01Rs cost more in Japan compared to the AD07s.
Either way you go with these 3 tires, you should have a smile on your face. And also the 070s are not really long lasting tires as someone mentioned, they actually have a 140 wear rating compared to AD07s 180 wear rating. And look like a somewhat street slick to my eyes.
