real quick tire question
is there a difference between the OEM REE050 potenza rear tires and RE050 Pole Position rear tires. I only need to replace the rear tires now.
Firestone has the OEM for the best price, but they are on backorder. the Pole positions are cheaper, but a higher speed rating. can i match these with the stock OEM tires, or i could order the OEM's from tire rack.

That's a match Bean, I jus' did the same thing on mine. Stickier (n' I believe the PPs r' stickier than the standard 050s) is good for Stewie's rear.
It's when you, in some way, lessen your rear traction that things get a little sideways n' have you spendin' time pullin' fenceposts n' weeds out from under your rear bumper.
Be well.

I like the RE050A Pole Position in a 225/45/17-f, 255/40/17-r as the best street-performance, light track/Autocross tire combo for the AP2. You can put them out back behind the RE050's on the front, but I do prefer the 255's on the rear.
The Pole Position is going to have better wet traction. While they will match and not hurt the car I would say in the rain at the limits the car will understeer. That actually is not as bad as the way the car oversteers in the rain.
If I can help let me know.
