Default Real SSR's ?

I'm just wondering. Are the SSR wheels sold by Tire Rack, real SSRs (Speed Star Racing) from Japan or are they made here by another company with permission from SSR Japan?

I'm planning on purchasing a set within the next month but a couple friends told me they weren't 'real'. I also don't see the SSR GT3's on the jp website.

Thanks for clarifing
JT

We ar the importer of the SSR wheels into the US from Japan. The GT3 was made by them for the Tire Rack only. They made a modular wheel that was not forged and we wanted a forged wheel.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

We have the GT1 available and we are the importer into the US. It is not an exclusive wheel to the Tire Rack though.
