Rear tab relocation
So this is alot sketchier than I thought it would be ....
Not sure if this is the right forum... Basically I've cut off the rear tab and I have to relocate the screw. Do I just need to get a high speed drill to drill through the metal "lip/tab" of the quarter panel? I just want to make sure you DO drill through that metal.
THanks guys!!!!

Thanks, I'm not sure why people desribe this as so simple... that metal isn't exactly thin... and considering you're drilling through metal while holding a hand drill - pretty sketchy. I'll go to lowes tomorrow and try to get a titanium drill bit for my dremel since its one of the high speed models (so it should be enough).
Whats weird is, my driver side isn't rubbing... I bet I could've gotten off just griding the stock down as much as possible.
edit - maybe I don't know realize the powah of the dremel with a good bit though.

Ended up using my friend's drill - it did the trick.
Just in case anyone search's this topic ever - here are before and after pictures. As you can see I'm no artist with a dremel... but you really will never notice with the wheel on the car (I do need to touch up that little nick on the passenger side bumper).
Before (driver side)

After (passenger side - I don't have a similar angled pic for the driver side)

Well, that picture is my phone leaning on the rotor so you're seeing the inside edge... if you're just looking at it from the outside you don't really notice. However, I may take a cutting wheel and just skim a little off so it would be a clean edge (its jagged like that because the grinder I was using was too aggresive as I tried to "sand it").
