Figured I'd start a new topic for the finished product. Not entirely sure how to edit the title of the original post to say I had final pics up.
Anyways, They are all done. Took me about 20 hours or so to do all the wheels. I think they came out great, and with the addition of the blue lugs, the gold really pops. Not sure how the gold will hold up, so I figured I'd do as much coats of paint as I could. (6 cans total, about 8 or 9 coats of paint including the center caps). Let me know what you guys think.

 

First thoughts "Subaru" ...I love it though! Post some pics installed, now I wonder if I should do this with my spare v2. What kind of paint did you use?

 

 

The blue on gold is a dead ringer for Work wheels - which isn't a bad thing. I like em.

 

Haha yeah when they were all done I saw the Subaru in them as well, but whatev I am happy with them. But thanks. I used rustoleum gold chrome. About 4 a can and you don't use clear with this paint (super gloss).

 

the center caps... did you mask off the "H" ? Or did you buy some new vinyl or something on ebay and lay it over the new paint?

 

Yeah I just bought some black decals on eBay. Found a guy that'll give you the choice of any color.
