So I am going thru the tire shopping torture and I was looking at the BFG KDW tire. However, on tirerack they don't list the contact patch width. THey do list the section width and it is almost the same as the S02s (exact match for rear, .3 larger for the front). So could I run these tires and have a similar contact patch as w/ the S02s?

 

You will find that "sectional width", "contact patch" and "rubber on the road" don't always have any correlation.
