I went ahead and picked them up. For all 4 tires it was about half of what one tire costs new... and I hear they rarely, if ever ask you to send the busted tire back to them.

The certificate is a educated risk. They sell it to enough people and they will make money. You buy it and depending on how lucky/types of roads you drive, it can become worth it as well... Think about what you will use the tires for, and what life expectancy youll get out of them. Also the price of the tires new, and to have them replaced, im guessing they don't pay to have the tires removed and remounted?

A nail in the sidewall is a very real possibility for me.

then i think u better get the warranty

i am not sure how there program works but i have had replacement warranty with local good year store.

What they did when u got a flat tire is that they measure the % of the tread left and then gave u the credit towards the new tire
