Default Replacement Tires?

I'm sure someone has done their homework on what are the best replacement tires for a stock '03. While I did search the forums, if anyone has a good link send it to me, or please give me your personal opinion. Like everyone i'm on my second set of S02's on the rear and the originals on the front. I'm looking for a solid replacement for daily driving that might give a little better wear. I've spoken with a few places and was suggested SO3's or the new tires that are on the 04-05's, R070? or something. Any suggestions? Thanks.

First, for nearly all non-stock tires, you will need 245/45 in the rear. If you can live with a little less dry grip, but improived wet grip and wear, many 'ultra' high performance tires will work. The current best bang for buck is Hankook RS2 available at Discount Tire or edgeracing.com among other places. For even longer wear, I would recommend Toyo T1R, Bridgestone RE750, or Fuzion ZRi, in that order.

I had the S03s in 245 they are very similar to the RE050.
