Default RG II vs. RPF1

deciding whether to get the RG II's or RFP1's. my cars daily driven and i love both rims. id like to get the advans because basically i want to start out right.. and with some badass rims. but im picky/ADD i dont know, but scared to mess them up and no clue if they'd be fixable in the future if ever get any curbage or chips. RPF1's would be a set i wouldnt have to worry about too much because theyre less expensive and more for the streets.

people have rpf1's already in my area.. but not RG II's

so if anyone would like to give me some opinions on what i should do let me know, it would help me decide a bit better.

thanks

RGII's look great, but in all reality the RPF1's are lighter and maybe even stronger...

RG II was my first choice but I ended up with RPF1's. Even used RG II's fetch a premium around here, more than what the RPF1's were new.

You mentioned the one downside to RPF1 - it's very common. That kind of thing doesn't really bother me though. It's popular for good reasons. How often are you going to come across another car with the same wheels other than at a meet?

not often.

i mean my choice as well is to go for the RPF1's.. but for the S project i want to start i want to start out right...

maybe buy enkei's now and rg's later??

well i will only say a few have rpf1's around here, dont see them too much, but id love to be the first round here with the RG's lol

im not going to go overboard modifying the S. between both rims.. which one is more stronger.

i saw some used advans on the FS going for 1550 shipped? no tires.. dont know how much tires would be.. but i can get the RPF1's 17x8 +48 / x9 +45 WITH tires for under 1550 and it includes mounting and balancing and such.

Its all up to what you are willing to spend. If you want RPF1's talk to Charles at Discount Tire at the beach!

Both are cast... just choose whichever one suits you more.
