AP2 V1 (skinny, good looking spider-like spokes) or AP2 V2 wheels (not bad either) in nice shape look great when cleaned up imo in the factory finish. And they're more like $400-500 for four in pretty good-good shape, only maybe $550-600 if in nearly pristine, like new shape. The V3's in factory silver can go for another $100-$200 easy it seems, but I really like the look of the ap2v1 and they're generally less expensive since more were produced I suppose. The CR gunmetal wheels go for another $300 on top of what the non CR V3's seem to go for. So generally $1,000 is the expected price of a set of CR wheels in really good shape, without tires. As much as $1,500 with for a like new set of extreme performance tires installed. If you're looking to daily the car in a warm climate though, might want to look into max performance tires too depending on how often you're willing to replace tires due to the cost depending on how many miles each year and how you drive it.

V1 look the best, and they are lighter.

I think CR wheels would look best on a GPW car, since they are slightly darker than the standard silver finish.

Agree that the color works, just not the blocky wheel design. And the v2 look like a feminine version of the v1. But that's just like my opinion man

Watch the classifieds and also in your local forum.

V3's for $800 but they are sold

Ap2V1's for $450 shipped for the wheels

You can always have wheels painted or powder coated to whatever color you like.

My favorite too, I picked up the ap2v3 for my ap2 because of the tires that are on them and price I found.

This one has ap2v1, v2, and v3 wheels in it almost side by side (with the exception of those dang RPF1's.....j/k I like those too).

I am sure he would prefer local since that is where he posted it, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Be prepared to pay for it though.

These are in Phoenix, might be a decent deal depending on tires: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/pts/5612009478.html
