Default Rim/Tire size?

i am going tp purchase a set of rims.
I am going 17x7.5 in the front
but in the rear i am debating on either 17x8.5 or 17x9
would the 17x9 fit in the back without rubbing?
and should i even do that?
are there any disadvantages to going 17x9 in the back?
how will this change the handling?
thanks
J

17x9 in the rear so you can go 255's. The rubbing issue is going to depend on your suspension drop and your offsets. 17x9 with +65 rears will be fine.

I agree. It just depends on what you want. You can make the 17X9 even with lower offsets work with the 245/40R17 no problem. It does look more aggressive with the wider rear wheel.
If I can help let me know.
