Hello guys, just wondering how much the stock AP2 rims weight and if anyone knows how much Volk Gt-u 18.8.5 rims weight. Thx thx

 

OEM fronts are 17.6 lbs and the rears are 20.5 lbs.

I think the Volks are ~23 lbs.

Thx but i thought my 05 rims were a lot heavyer, but i guess it was just with tires. SO those volks are heavyer then the stocks?

AP2 wheels weigh that much? 16" AP1s don't weigh 20.5lbs in the rear

 

I asked my friends who are going to order me my volks when i get the money. They told me its going to take 60-90 days to get!!!!!!!! and there going to check the weight of both the stock and the volks for me and for sure ill let u guys know.

 

don't worry about the volks, we know those things are above 20lbs. all the GT series wheels weigh alot. The only ones that are light are the CE28Ns and TE37s.

 

Kinda makes sense though, doesn't it? They are an inch larger in diameter and also an inch wider. Considering they are only 1.9 lbs heavier, it's not too bad. However, the Front OEM AP2 is only .1 heavier then the OEM AP1, despite a 1" diameter increase and a .5" width increase.
