a buddy of mine at work has a set of axis rims 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 that came off his rx8 i was wondering if the bolt pattern would fit on an ap2? i cant seem to find the offset on the rims. theres a stamp on the back side that says off 5? if that makes any sense any help would be great

look for "ET#" on the backside and that will tell you the offset.....unless the offset is 5 and you'll have some serious lip action and and hard time getting them to fit the S

the RX8 has the same bolt pattern as the S.. 5x114.3 but im not sure if their offsets will work properly.. the RX8 has pretty wide fenders and allow for some pretty low offsets. if the offset really is a -5 then goodluck tucking those under the fenders of the S2

 

bolt pattern is the same, why dont you guys just try to install one side into your car to see if it fit properly since you dont know the offsets

 

the offsets on the rx8 should be +45 front rear on a 8.5 front 10 rear

 

RX-8's run a 10 inch rear stock???? Thats weird because I've had a few rx-8 customers come in for rotations

 

no.. i believe Sinji was just quoting what the standard offset is for a 10 inch width rim on an RX8. stock RX8's rims are 18x7.5 or 18x8 i believe... probably 7.5 though
