Default Rota Wheels

Hey guys.. i hope all of you are doing good. just want some info on the rota slipstream.. i thinking of them but im not sure if i would get the 16's or the 17's. and i want it to be as wide as possible but also wide enough for my s2k to be comfortable.. soo can you help out with the offset of the 16's or 17's and what exact size should it be?

16 x 7 +45, 16 x 8 +48 with 205/55/16, 225/50/16 tires.

17 x 7.5 +45, 17 x 8.5 +48 with 225/45/17, 255/40/17 tires.

16's are lighter, 17's have a much better selection of tire widths and compounds.

You could go either way, really. 16's will be cheaper and generally lighter, 17's will have a greater variety of tire models available.

On the street, being limited to 205/225's isn't a big deal, and for the track there are great 245's and even 275's available for 16's, so the tread width advantage of going with 17's doesn't amount to much if anything.

so 16's are better? its not about the width to me.. but i want performance and i would want it to look good on the car. now i have the ap2 v1 wheels painted gold. im thinking of white rota's, or matt black or bronze.

its really up to you. i love the look of the 16 and the seleciton of the wheels but then you are ultimately limited to the width of the tire (speed & handling) of the cars capability.

i will be purchasing 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 in the future.
