Default Rotas...

Does anyone here have any previously bad experiences with Rota wheels? I am considering the Slipstreams and I'm just seeing so many different thoughts. People say how terrible they are, others praise them. I never thought they were bad, my friends have had Rotas on their STi's and such. I know I drive a $30,000 car and I really don't want a crappy wheel on there, but I love the look of them. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I had 2 set on my previous civic, Slipstream & Group N, no complain, no issue. Nice deal!!

But I just checked and Rota dont have the right width size in 16'' (slipstream)

Wich model/size you will consider?

those slipstreams fit the s2000 nicely. he is the #1 seller of rotas in the US.

i think rotas are fine wheels. seeing how an incredibly large number of sti owner use them i would imagine that they are decent wheels

^^ I knew the broken rota pictures would show up at some point. There was a batch of wheels years ago that had a defect and were prone to breaking. The issue has long since been resolved. I've seen broken BBS wheels and Volk wheels. They must suck too.

would you choose Rota over a BBS/Volk wheel?

if price is of concern I would. Rota offers an inexpensive alternative to your volk or bbs wheel. People just want to hate because they're not the real thing.
