Default Roughly, what kind of mileage can I

I know this can vary widely, but in general, what can I expect 9,000 miles? 2 sets of rears to 1 set of fronts?

Well, I bought the car used with some 17" SSR's on it and I'd rather match the front and put S-03's on the rear too. My question stands..............

I'm on my second set of 255-40-17 S-03's.

About 9 or 10k per set. I need a new set now.

depends entirely on how you drive the car...

so3s are a bit harder rubber than s02s so you will get a little more mileage from them than you got on your so2s usually.

I have only driven S02s on the S2000, and get about 12000-13000 miles on a set - at which point the rears are near bald and I am VERY careful in the wet. I have S03s on a 911, which tends to eat rear tires, too, and they have about 9000 miles on them. I think the rears are probably good for another 5000, but that is about it. So in my use on 2 different cars, 12-13k for S02s, maybe 14-15k for S03s. Expect less if you do a lot of track events.

The S03s are definately better in the rain....

I had so3's in the rear for about 11000 miles, lowered. I dont know though how many miles the previous owner, of the rims put on them before I bought them. I dis mostly freeways and a canyon run. I just put some new ones a weekago. The fronts are still fine, just a little camber wear.

I got a little over 11000 miles from my rear SO3s (265/35-18), including two open track days. The alignment was checked every six months or so, and that did help I suppose. I could have gotten 2000 or so more out of them but the camber wore the insides too much because I do not like rotating tires this wide (plus they need to unmounted and remounted to achieve that). FYI I do not drive it like I stole it, on the street at least, and with tires that wide I never got any wheelspin.
