Default RPF1 Question...

I'm going to DD on these with minimal track days involved... let me get straight to the point

I'm going to order 17x8, x9 +45 RPF1s with 225/F and 255/R, but when i switch over to Spoon fenders will my front 17x8 be flush with the fender? or should i just go 17x9 +45 all around with a stagger tire set up? any advice will help. thank you.

The 8" +45 will be flush to the oem fender. The spoon fenders are 25mm wider than stock. You will need a wider wheel to fill in the gap. A 9" +45 is 12mm wider than a 8" +45.

Thanks for the info. I'm also considering running 17x9 +45 with 255 all around... i've seen a pic of them with the spoon fender and it seemed pretty close to flush. but with the square set up how will it affect me on track compared to the staggered set up. Ive kinda trying to reduce oversteer lol

It's a combo of your alignment, spring rates, and sway bar(s). Aero also helps.

Wished I could advise you on the suspension stuff but I'm still new to that as well. Is this the car you mentioned? He's running 9" +35 in the front.

That looks legit! So now the question is... Should I order x9 +35 or +45 all around. I'm considering over fenders now lol. Thanks for the input guys
