Running 215 front and 255 rear tires on aftermarket rims, OK or not OK ?
Running 215 front and 255 rear tires on aftermarket rims, OK or not OK ? Less oversteer I assume but too much understeer? Or is this set up just right? 17x7.5 front and 17x8.5 rear on stock suspension. Current set-up is 225 front and 255 rear. I track my car as well.

Sounds good to me thats what the NSX runs

The sizes are going to be fine. They are a little shorter than stock but the stagger is fine.
If I can help with the tires let me know. Jim 877-522-8473-364 |

This setup is what I'm running to accommodate for the lack of offset on my front 17" rims which are 8" wide (49+). I could probably run 225s up front w/o rubbing, but I'll stick with the 215s since it's closer to the stock stagger ratio for whatever that's worth.
You should run 215/45/17. I hear the Kumho MXs are comparable to S0-3s, which is a good thing. I just hate the sidewall design with all that neon-sign crap writing. Good luck, |
The Kumho rear is 129.00 each and front is 115.00 front. Let me know if I can help.
