Running 215 front and 255 rear tires on aftermarket rims, OK or not OK ? Less oversteer I assume but too much understeer? Or is this set up just right? 17x7.5 front and 17x8.5 rear on stock suspension. Current set-up is 225 front and 255 rear. I track my car as well.

This setup is what I'm running to accommodate for the lack of offset on my front 17" rims which are 8" wide (49+). I could probably run 225s up front w/o rubbing, but I'll stick with the 215s since it's closer to the stock stagger ratio for whatever that's worth.
You should run 215/45/17.
I hear the Kumho MXs are comparable to S0-3s, which is a good thing. I just hate the sidewall design with all that neon-sign crap writing.
Good luck,
